Wife, mother, owner & creator of Katydid Bath Co.   After working full time for the past 15 years, I realized how much I was missing at home with my 2 boys.  It was time for a change.  Scary as it was, I quit my job and decided to start my own business.  I had no idea what kind of business I wanted to start though.  Shortly after leaving 

Wife, mother, owner & creator of Katydid Bath Co.   After working full time for the past 15 years, I realized how much I was missing at home with my 2 boys.  It was time for a change.  Scary as it was, I quit my job and decided to start my own business.  I had no idea what kind of business I wanted to start though.  Shortly after leaving my job, my best friend since childhood passed away suddenly.  I was devastated.  We were both loved using essential oils and she had quite the collection, in which I ended up receiving from her mother.  There was no way I was going to be able to use all of these oils by myself, but I thought I could share them with others.  I began to make Epsom salts with the oils and different fragrances. This is how the Katydid Bath Co. started!  I feel so lucky to have a family that not only supports me, but also helps in deciding on scents and products.  We are truly a handmade family business.
